I've explored the Canadian Rockies for a week, pitching tents, sleeping on the rental car, and meandering about exploring Banff, Jasper, Yoho, and Kootenay.  The majesty of this place cannot be understated.  It's magical in every sense of the word.  While it’s tallest mountains aren’t as tall as the mountains in my native Eastern Sierras, however the views are particularly impressive because the mountains stands out on the continental divide towering over Yellowhead Pass, one of the lowest passes in the Canadian Rockies.  Glaciated lakes, rocky mountains, green forests…O Canada!
